Ronaldo was offered to Eintracht last year, according to club chairman

Eintracht Frankfurt chairman Axel Hellman has revealed that the Portuguese superstar was offered to them before he joined Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has raised a ruckus in the past month with his Manchester United departure as well as his antics at the World Cup. the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is without a club right now but Eintract chairman Axel Hellman has added a new twist to the rumors surrounding

Ronaldo

as he claims the player was offered to them before he was offered to Man United last year.

“He was even offered to us,"

Hellman admitted to DAZN, adding:

"I have the feeling he was offered to every Champions League club."

The love Ronaldo bears for the Champions League is no secret. So Hellman’s comments may very well be true but regardless of the fact, Ronaldo is now a free-agent and could join a number of clubs, including Saudi Arabian Al Nassr who offered him a 200-million-Euro per year.
