Tite will leave Brazil following their shock exit against Croatia

Brazil heartbreak against Croatia on penalties has led to manager Tite quitting his job.

Selecao went against Croatia in a match that many deemed

the obvious victors but Dalic’s side proved their resilience once again after making a come back in the extra time to make it 1-1 before winning the match on penalty shoot-outs 4-2.

The result certainly stunned the footballing world and Brazilians more than anyone, leading to Brazil boss Tite quitting his job.

"As I said, my cycle is over. I said it over a year and a half ago. I'm a man of my word."

Tite told the press following the loss.

Tite seems to be refering to an interview where he stated:

"I'm going until the end of the World Cup. I have no reason to lie here. I don't want to win anyway. I've won everything in my career, the only thing missing is the World Cup."

Whether the Brazilian FA accepts his resignation or not remains to be seen.
