Arsenal legend doesn’t want ‘to see Ronaldo at Arsenal'

Gunners legend David Seaman doesn’t want Ronaldo or his “attitude” at Arsenal

The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner and Portugal legend

Cristiano Ronaldo

is currently without a club following his high-profile departure from Manchester United a few weeks back. While Ronaldo has been mainly linked with Al Nassr, there have been rumors of him joining the likes of Arsenal but former Arsenal shot-stopper Seaman doesn’t want it to happen.

Seaman who previously was warm to the idea of Ronaldo joining

Arsenal

, has now changed his mind as he told his listeners on his podcast. Seaman Says:

“There’s even been talk about Ronaldo. I know I went on the Piers Morgan show and I said yeah I’d have him. Don’t think I would now if I’m honest. I don’t know what’s happening with his attitude. I see him come off for Portugal [against South Korea] and he starts swearing, or whatever he did to the manager, and stuff like that, and I’m thinking hang on a minute, this is Ronaldo. You’re the best player in the world, you don’t really need to be acting like this. That’s why I don’t want to see him at Arsenal. The harmony at the club and togetherness is brilliant.”

With Ronaldo being without a club and his place in

Portugal

’s starting line-up threatened, as his replacement Goncalo Ramos scored a hat-trick in the last-16, Ronaldo’s career seems to be in a critical juncture. However for now, the World Cup seems to be his main focus as Portugal prepares to face Morocco in the quarter-finals.
