Fabinho vows to ‘knock down’ Alexander-Arnold critics
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been criticized a lot recently but Liverpool teammate Fabinho has now come to his rescue and promises to “knock down” Arnold’s naysayers
The fact that Alexander-Arnold is criticized for his defensive work isn’t something new but with Liverpool underperforming this season, the criticisms towards the English youngster has been particularly harsh recently.
This has prompted in many of Arnold’s
Liverpoolteammates to come to his defense, with the most recent one being the Brazilian Fabinho who defended Arnold as he brought up his duel with Martinelli from last season's match against
Arsenal.

Apart from the diagonal balls to Martinelli which Trent defended incredibly, the boy Martinelli is such a talented boy, really tricky and if anybody says Trent can't defend they can come to me and I will knock them down because I cannot hear that anymore, I don't know what the boy has to do!”
Fabinho said.
Fabinho seemed frustrated with the notion that Arnold may sometimes seem lax while defending and said:
"He was always there, defending well. I don't know why we have this discussion."
