Maldini was ‘super happy’ about his son’s goal against Milan

AC Milan clashed with Spezia on Sunday, taking revenge for the last season’s loss and winning by the smallest margin.

Paolo Maldini talked about his reaction to his son scoring against Milan on Sunday night, claiming he followed Galliani’s advice by showing no emotions during the game.

and his goal against the Rossoneri was a rare one since he is the first Maldini to ever score against AC Milan.

Milan got away with the 3 points thanks to a late goal from Olivier Giroud and Maldini has expressed his feelings about the match:

“Of course, my idea was to win more easily, not at the last minute. I followed Galliani’s advice before Milan-Monza, don’t move for a week.

“That’s what I also did during the game, I showed no emotions, but as a father, I could only be super happy.”

Maldini refers to Galliani who was a former Milan director and is now in charge of Monza. His team was soundly beaten 4-1 by Milan last week and he had to show no emotions during the match.

Paolo Maldini was awarded the Best Director in 2022 by Tuttosport in Monday’s Golden Boy award.
