Grealish: Haaland is probably the best player I’ve ever seen

Manchester City forward Jack Grealish says he is grateful to Pep Guardiola for believing in him despite his struggles.

Manchester City

beat Copenhagen with five goals on Wednesday in the Champions League. Erling Haaland scored another two goals in this match. Alvarez and Mahrez were on the scoresheet. Copenhagen’s player also scored an own goal.

City has won all of their three games and is at top of the group. Dortmund beat Sevilla 1-4 in the other match. Dortmund has six points, and Sevilla and Copenhagen both have one point.

Jack Grealish

who struggled at the beginning of the season but in the last four games has been in the starting line-up and says he is playing with freedom and confidence.

Grealish told BT Sport:

”I've played a lot of games recently so I'm thankful to the manager for that. I'm playing with a smile on my face and feel like I'm settling in now…"

"My last three or four games for Man City, I feel back to myself. I'm playing more with freedom and confidence. It'd help if I got on the scoresheet, I was desperate tonight, but it's all about enjoying and winning. When the luck isn't with you..."

After a hat-trick against Manchester United on Sunday,

Erling Haaland

scored two goals on Wednesday to reach 19 goals in just 12 matches this season.

Grealish about Haaland said:

“I was just laughing. Unstoppable. He’s got this instinct, always in the right place at the right time, he’s born with it. His goal record is absolutely ridiculous. He’s probably the best I’ve ever seen and ever played with.”
