Betis reached an agreement with Braga over Lainez' loan deal

The Mexican star will be transferred to Portugal in the summer.

Real Betis

agreed with

SC Braga

to send

Diego Lainez

on loan for one season.

In 2019, Lainez transferred to Europe from Club America for 14 million euros, and Betis hoped to develop his talent during this period, but they have failed in this until today. Therefore, the club decided to send the Mexican star on loan to another team for one season. According to the claims of Spanish publications, Braga have a permanent purchase clause of 7 million euros in the Lainez contract.

Betis Club has announced that the player's contract, which was valid until 2023, has been extended until 2025. This will give him the freedom to make decisions about his future more easily.

Brazilian star Luis Henrique has also joined Betis this summer and is expected to compete for a place. With the possible departure of Cristian Tello and the Lainez, Betis probably counted on Joaquin, Rodri and Aitor Ruibal.
