Leicester confirmed no offer for Tielemans from Arsenal & Man Utd

The Belgian star is interested in several major clubs in the Premier League.

Leicester City

chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has confirmed that despite

Manchester United

and

Arsenal

's interest in signing

Youri Tielemans

, the club has yet to receive an offer for him.

There are rumors about the departure of the Belgian star, who has only 12 months left on his contract, from the King Power Stadium. Having initially joined Leicester City on loan in January 2019, he has made 120 appearances for the Foxes to date, surpassed only by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel with 127. Also, only Harvey Barnes with 24 assists and James Maddison with 19 have done better than Tielemans, who has registered 18 assists since joining Leicester from Monaco. His creativity and brilliance have made clubs such as Manchester United and Arsenal want to recruit him, but Srivaddhanaprabha claimed that no offer has been received yet.

He said:

"It's nothing. There haven't been any offers yet. There hasn't been anything concrete or a proposition yet."

Brendan Rodgers' side has not yet made a purchase in the summer transfer window, and the club chairman said:

"Premier League football is one of the focal points for the King Power Group. You may see that the reinforcement is quite slow, this is because the market is changing quite quickly. You have to wait until the end of August. I think there is still time."
