PSG should put individualism behind for next season - Sarabia

The Argentine star returned to PSG in the summer and is expected to be a key player in the team.

Pablo Sarabia

has asked

Paris Saint-Germain

to ditch individualism for the 2022-23 season.

The Argentinian midfielder spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon and managed to score 15 goals in 29 games. However, he has returned to PSG for the upcoming season and with the departure of Angel Di Maria and Xavi Simmons, he is expected to play a key role in this team. PSG won the fourth championship in the last 5 years in Ligue 1, but once again failed to win the Champions League.

They signed

Lionel Messi

last summer to reach their main goal, but were eliminated in the round of 16 with a dramatic defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu. Mauricio Pochettino was fired at the end of the season and former Nice coach Christophe Galtier took over at PSG. Sarabia was impressed by Galtier's discipline and asked him to form a united team.

"I think in any job, discipline and rules are important.

"It is necessary for a good cohabitation and to form a good group. I think it will be good for everyone.

"You have to build a good group, leave aside individualities because the most important thing is the collective.

"We see it every year, the teams that are the most united are those that end up winning titles."
