Napoli sporting director: Koulibaly is not for sale

Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli insists they won't sall Kalidou Koulibaly to Juventus.

According to some reports,

Koulibaly

wants to leave Napoli this summer but the Italian club only sells him to a club outside of Italy. Koulibaly's contract ends in 2023 and

Napoli

is open to selling him rather than losing him on a free transfer.

Napoli director Giuntoli today talked to reporters about the transfer market and Koulibaly's future.

“Koulibaly is a key player for us. There’s no bid from any club. We’ve offered him a new deal for €6m net salary per season plus a future role as part of the board.

“It’s a huge proposal, €60m gross for Napoli - Koulibaly deserves it all. Koulibaly told us he wants to think about our new deal proposal and explore the options for his future.

“We didn’t need to tell Koulibaly that we’re not selling him to Juventus - because we consider Koulibaly untouchable and non-transferable”.

Napoli's director insists that

Paulo Dybala

is not in their plans and there have been no negotiations with him.

“Dybala is not part of our plans. We’ve never been in talks to sign Paulo”.

“We’ve offered Dries Mertens a new deal for €2.5m salary net, it was an important proposal - but it has been turned down”.

Giuntoli also says that they want to keep Fabian Ruiz.

“We have no bids from any club for Fabián Ruíz. He loves the city but he’s exploring options before deciding his future. We want Fabián to stay here”.

“We’re waiting for him to bring offers before deciding on our proposal”.

Napoli's sporting director says they only consider Victor Osimhen selling if they receive a huge offer.

“There’s no bid for Osimhen… we’ve received some calls to explore the situation. Huge, really huge bid is needed to sell Osimhen”.
