Jovic to leave Real Madrid for Fiorentina
The Serbian star will soon leave Santiago Bernabeu for Serie A.
Fabrizio Romano claimed that the transfer of
Real Madridstriker
Luka Jovicto
Fiorentinais being finalized.
The initial negotiations of the two clubs were about the loan transfer of the Serbian striker, but it seems that the agreement between the two clubs will be on a two-year transfer with the option of a two-year extension.
Madrid will also have a 50% buyout clause on the deal and are more than happy to get rid of the Serbian striker's high salary. The Serbian striker joined Real Madrid in 2019 and the club hoped to replace Karim Benzema, but he failed to find his way at the Santiago Bernabeu. He has scored 9 goals in 26 games for the Serbian national team, and has scored only 3 goals and 5 assists in 51 games for Real Madrid.
He spent the second half of the 2020-21 season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, but this transfer was not effective for him and he could not return to his good days.
