However, according to

Fabrizio Romano

, Arsenal’s interest in Gnabry has vanished. He tweeted:

“Understand Arsenal are not working to sign Serge Gnabry. He’s not in the list, as things stand - Arsenal are now focused on different targets.

Gnabry

joined the Gunners' youth team when he was 16. He played 18 times for the first team under Arsene Wenger, but he is best known for spending his last year in England on loan at Tony Pulis' West Bromwich Albion, where he only played three times. In 2016, he signed with Werder Bremen for £5 million and soon after signed with Bayern Munich.

Gnabry has FC Bayern new contract proposal still available, no decision made yet on player side,

” Romano concluded.

Gnabry

has scored 10 or more goals in each of his six seasons in the Bundesliga since he moved back to Germany. He was one of the best players on the Bayern Munich team that won the 2019-20 Champions League.

The German earlier told an interview that his decision to look for a new team would depend on how the club treats him. "I think it's kind of sad how things go back and forth," Gnabry said at a Germany press conference when asked about the situation. "Because of this, I hope that a peace agreement will be reached.”
