Chelsea edge closer to signing Sterling and Ake from Manchester City

Chelsea is getting closer to the signing two players from the Premier League champions.

Fabrizio Romano says that talks between Chelsea and

Manchester City

for the transfer of

Raheem Sterling

and

Nathan Ake

are progressing well. Romano claims that both players are keen to join Chelsea and a City is happy to sell them if their asking price is met.

Raheem Sterling is on the target list of Thomas Tuchel as he comes to the final year of his deal with the Premier League title winners, who appreciate his service and would not stand in his way. The 27-year-old has played 339 times for City and has scored 131 goals. Chelsea also wants to sign two center-backs this summer and Nathan Ake who is a graduate of their academy is one of Tuchel's top targets.
