West Ham began official talks with Villareal over Danjuma
The Dutch star is on his way back to the Premier League.
The Hammers are confident they can reach Villarreal to transfer the 25-year-old striker, who scored 17 goals for his side last season and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Danjuma has a history of playing for Bournemouth and has played two seasons in the Premier League and one season in the Championship, scoring 15 goals in 33 games for his team. He has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United and Liverpool and is expected to cost around € 40 million. However, West Ham have overtaken rivals and are said to be very close to bringing him back to the Premier League.
No personal agreement has been reached with him yet, but reports indicate that there will be no problem in this regard.
