City not willing to negotiate with Napoli for Fabian

The Napoli star is not open to penning a contract extension with the club and despite the Red Devils being keen on signing the player, they are not willing to negotiate with Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Fabian Ruiz'

s deal is due to expire in June 2023 and he will probably not extend his stay at

Napoli

.

Aurelio De Laurentiis

, the club president, talked with the Spain international but could not reach an agreement with him. Therefore, Napoli have to cash in on him in the summer to prevent losing him as a free agent a year later.

As per reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Mattino, Fabian Ruiz does not wish to extend his stay at the Serie A club and should he fail to leave this summer, Napoli will not keep him in the squad like Arek Milik in 2019.

The polish player did not pen a new contract with the club and they excluded him from the team and he eventually made a move to Marseille.

Based on reports from Cadena Ser,

Manchester City

are among the teams keen on penning with Fabian, but they are not willing to negotiate with Napoli.

City and Napoli’s directors do not share a good relationship because of the problems they had in 2018 for a deal for Jorginho.
