Totti: I’d give Dybala the Roma Number 10 shirt
AS Roma legend Francesco Totti says he is ready to pass on the iconic Roma Number 10 jersey to Paulo Dybala.
Dybala has Been linked with a few English teams and Inter remains the favorites to sign him but Jose Mourinho’s
Romais also interested in him and Francesco Totti has said he is ready to convince the Argentina international.
Ahead of tonight’s charity event at San Siro, Totti told calciomercato.com:
“I could give Dybala some advice. If it was up to me, I’d give him the Number 10 jersey at Roma, but we’ll have to see if he takes it.
“I would always give Mourinho the 10, as I really like him both as a coach and a person. I would’ve been very happy to work with him, maybe I’ll come out of retirement!”
Ahead of the upcoming Conference League final battle against Feyenoord, Totti also talked about Jose Mourinho’s first season at Roma.
“Certainly the Champions League is important for everyone, there are some clubs that could’ve done better this season, but right now Roma has to be focused on the Conference League.
“It’s going to be a tough game on Wednesday, it’s a final which makes it different from all the others but hopefully it goes well.
“As for Mourinho, I’m always going to give him a 10 regardless of how things go. I really like him as a person and as a manager, I really would’ve liked to have worked with him.”
