Isco in talk with Real Betis over summer transfer
The Spanish star is close to the exit doors of the Santiago Bernabeu.
Isco has not played for Real Madrid in recent seasons and has been mostly on the bench. He hoped that with the presence of Carlo Ancelotti, the situation would change and he would return to the Real Madrid squad, but he has also been used more as a substitute this season and is thinking of leaving. Many clubs have been looking to sign Isco in recent seasons, but he hoped to play a key role at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini, who previously coached Isco in Malaga, is said to be pushing for him. Real Betis have been offered a two-year contract and he will join the club's three highest-paid players if he joins the club.
Negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming months, with the transfer taking place in the summer and Isco leaving Madrid after nine years. He has played 351 games for Real Madrid and scored 53 goals.
