Either Donnarumma or Navas will depart PSG in the summer

The PSG boss said that he is not going to rotate Gigio Donnarumma and Keylor Navas for the 2022-23 season, whereas the Costa Rica international thinks this has to change ‘one way or another’.

Gigio Donnarumma

has featured in 22 matches this season, which is one less that his teammate.

Mauricio Pochettino

was satisfied with how he rotated the two shot-stoppers in the 2021-22 season but he has other plans for the next one.

“The cohabitation has been good between them, but the future will surely be different,”

the Argentinean coach said at a press conference following PSG’s victory over Angers on Wednesday.

“It’s clear that both would like to play much more than they have had the opportunity to do. No other club has experienced a situation like this, with two goalkeepers like Keylor and Gigio.”

Pochettino effectively showed that he is willing to sell one of the goalkeepers. Navas was in the starting XI last night, but he revealed before the start that the situation at the club is not satisfactory for him.

The former Real Madrid player revealed that he should think about

“a lot of things at the end of the season,”

adding that the condition should

“change in one way or another.”

The Italy international made a move to PSG last summer when he hit free agency and was named Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020. He has been having a see-saw season with PSG and he is open to the idea of going back to Serie A. Milan were expected to be his destination but they are not open to having him back.
