Mourinho plans Roma reinforcement for the future

Amadou Diawara and Ebrima Darboe may depart the Giallorossi on the last day of the January transfer window, but the club manager is already trying to reinforce the squad next season.

Roma

have brought in

Ainsley Maitland Niles

and

Sergio Oliveira

on loan deals in January and are not expected to have other contracts done on the last day of the winter transfer window.

They are keeping an eye on

Cagliari’

s Nahitan Nandez; however, the Uruguayan may stay in Sardinia until the season ends.

As to what the fans can expect, Roma may loan Amadou Diawara to Venezia and Ebrima Darboe to Cagliari, but

Jose Mourinho

is keen on welcoming new signings at the club.

As per reports from

Il Corriere dello Sport

, Roma have transfer strategies for the next months.

Among the players, 12 are certainly staying at the club, whereas many may depart.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s deal is due to expire when the season ends, and the ex-Manchester United and

Arsenal

striker may make a move to Russia in June.

Jordan Veretout and Roger Ibanez have some offers, and this season might be their last in the capital.

The Roma boss has yet to give up on Granit Xhaka, but he also aims to strengthen the club’s wings.

As per recent reports, Diogo Dalot’s loan from the Red Devils is still an option, but Roma would also think about Marcos Senesi (Feyenoord) and Facundo Medina (Lens) if Maitland Niles goes back to Arsenal when the season ends.
