Tottenham make a bid for Aston Villa target Bentancur

The Spurs have made a bid to Juventus that is more than Aston Villa’s for acquiring the signature of Rodrigo Bentancur to have their first signing in January.

Tottenham

are eager to add some reinforcements before the transfer window closes on Monday, with their attempts for targets like

Adama Traore

and

Frank Kessie

coming undone.

Based on reports from

Gianluca Di Marzio

, the Lillywhites have made an offer to

Juventus

, which is different from the one

Aston Villa

made recently for acquiring the services of Rodrigo Bentancur. Villa offered €25m plus add-ons for the Uruguayan midfielder to bring him on a loan deal that includes an option to buy.

The Spurs’ offer, on the other hand, seems more convincing to Juventus, particularly if their offer has an obligation or conditional obligation to buy him. The Serie A side are trying to pen with Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach, and finishing this deal would let them push forward for the Swiss player.

Antonio Conte

needs some recruitments in the January transfer window. Therefore, Fabio Paratici should work hard to satisfy the Italian tactician in the remaining days of the winter transfer window.
