Al Ahly set to reject every incoming offer for Badr Benoun

Al Ahly, an Egyptian Premier League heavyweight, is allegedly rejecting any bids to recruit Moroccan center-back Badr Benoun in the near future.

According to reports, Benoun has received a deal from

UAE Pro League

club

Al-Ain

to join them in the forthcoming winter transfer window, notably after a strong performance with the Atlas Lions in the Arab Cup.

However, according to Moroccan news source

HeSPORT

, Al Ahly are unwilling to allow the Morocco international to depart.

As per the report, Al Ahly's technical staff, led by Pitso Mosimane, and the board place too much importance on Benoun and are unwilling to allow him to depart so soon.

The 28-year-old has played 49 games for Al Ahly since arriving in Egypt in 2020, establishing himself as one of club head coach Pitso Mosimane's most trusted players.

Badr has won four titles in his year with Al Ahly, including the

CAF Champions League

, an Egypt Cup, and two CAF Super Cups.

His most recent triumph with Reds came only two days ago when he defeated his compatriots and former teammates in Raja Casablanca in a penalty shoot-out to win the CAF Super Cup.
