Ancelotti defends Mourinho’s work at Roma

Jose Mourinho’s

performance as

Roma's

boss insisting that he needs time at Roma and that they are experiencing a transition.

Ancelotti himself was replaced by Gennaro Gattuso at Napoli in 2019 and experienced a year and a half at Everton before joining his former club Real Madrid in July.

Ancelotti had won the Champions League, a Copa del Rey, the FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup last time that he was Real Madrid’s manager, and now he has kept the La Liga giants in a good situation since his arrival.

Now he has talked about

Inter

, who they will face in the Champions League next week, and their match in the domestic competition against Roma, insisting that Inter is a powerful opponent and Mourinho needs time to complete his work at Roma.

“Inter are doing very well,”

Ancelotti said at a press conference ahead of the match against Real Sociedad in La Liga

.

“Roma are in a moment of transition. Mourinho has just arrived, he has brought enthusiasm and we need to give him time.”
