Mandzukic as Dalic’s new assistant at Croatia

Croatia have pronounced that the ex-Juventus and Milan forward will begin his job as a coach under Zlatko Dalic’s reign at the national team.

, who retired after a six-month spell at

Milan

in the 2020-21 season, has been named the

Zlatko Dalic

’s new assistant at

Croatia

national team.

The former forward was capped 89 times by his country, meeting the target 33 times during that time. He contributed to Croatia’s progress to the 2018 World Cup’s Final, where they ended it as runner-up behind France.

The 35-year-old was at

Juventus

from 2015 to 2020, before making a move to Qatar and Al-Duhail.

The ex-Bayern Munich forward found the back of the net 44 times in 162 matches with Juventus.

He joined Milan in January 2021, but had to deal with injury setbacks during his spell with the Rossoneri and only featured in 11 matches.
