Smith Rowe will replace Rashford in England

Emile Smith Rowe has been called up to play for England national team.

Arsenal’s

midfielder

Emile Smith Rowe

has been called up to take part in

England’s

national team after

Rashford’s

withdrawal from the national team because he wants to take more time to recover from injury.

Smith Rowe has proved himself as an important player for the Gunners this season since he became a starter and he has been a regular starter for the team, and now his impressive performances have convinced

Gareth Southgate

to choose him for the national team, and it is the first time he has been invited to play for the senior team allowing him to show his quality in the international level.

The player has proven his ability on the left and right side in the Gunners’ lineup, scoring five goals and providing two assists for his teammates, and the most important thing that shows Smith Rowe’s quality is the fact that he has scored in his last three games for the Gunners in the Premier League.

Replacing Marcus Rashford with Smith Rowe is not Gareth Southgate’s only change in England’s national team as he also sees Mason Mount’s availability in doubt for England’s upcoming games in World Cup qualifying games.

England will host Albania on Friday, and then they will head to San Marino on Monday to see if they can keep their position as the leaders of Group I.
