Manchester United interested in Nordi Mukiele

Manchester United has shown interest in signing RB Leipzig’s Nordi Mukiele.

There have been reports claiming that

Manchester United

is looking to sign a new right-back, and now they are reportedly interested in

RB Leipzig’s

right-back

Nordi Mukiele

.

The Red Devils were looking to sign

Atletico Madrid’s

English right-back

Kieran Trippier

, but the La Liga champions didn’t let their high profile right-back travel to his home country and play for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was trying to bring another player in Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s position to give him some competition to push for better performances.

Kieran Trippier was also interested in joining the Premier League giants, but now with Leipzig’s right-sided defender in the picture, the England international has probably lost his chance after seeing Manchester United try to convince his club for the most of the summer in the situation that they were already making so much activity in the transfer market signing players like Sancho, Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now the Red Devils have targeted Mukiele, who is eight years younger than Trippier and has proved himself as an important player in RB Leipzig’s squad since his move to the Red Bull Arena in 2018. Now, with two years left on the Frenchman’s contract with the Bundesliga side, the Red Devils are looking for the right moment to convince the player and the club on the move.
