‘Inter are a great team’, says Dzeko after 3-1 win over Fiorentina
Inter striker Edin Dzeko believes the comeback victory over Fiorentina showed Nerazzurri’s greatness.
The Viola pulled off a great performance in the first half, taking the lead through

to make some saves.
However, when
Matteo Darmian

Edin Dzeko
both were on target in three minutes, tables turned for
Interand
Ivan Perisic
scored the winner for the Nerazzurri.
Alexis Sanchez

Denzel Dumfries
were about to replace those two players just before the goals were scored.
“I will ask the coach later if he saw something and decided to change his mind!”
Dzeko

“This victory is one of a great team, because we are a great team. We suffered a lot in the first half and fortunately it was only 1-0, as Fiorentina had a wonderful first half. They fell away a little after the break, but we were more complete as a team and scored those two goals to turn the game around.”
Some were in doubt if Dzeko could work well with
Lautaro Martinez
, but the partnership is proving fruitful for Inter.
