The Argentine star will be on loan to Giuseppe Meazza for one season.

Inter Milan

have announced that they have signed Argentine striker Joaquin Correa from Lazio.

While there have been many rumors about the transfer in recent days, Inter Milan have finally officially announced that they have hired the former Sampdoria and Sevilla striker. According to Inter, they have paid Lazio € 5 million for a one-year loan transfer, which could add another € 1 million depending on his performance, with a permanent purchase clause of € 25 million.

Inter will also pay Lazio in three installments. According to Italian media, Correa earns 3.5 million euros a year, although Inter have not yet confirmed his salary.

Following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea for € 120 million, Inter were considering a striker and Joaquin Correa was their first choice.

Correa left Sevilla in the summer of 2018 and joined Lazio for € 16 million with a five-year contract. He scored 30 goals in 117 games for the team and received the title of Tacu from the fans.
