Lazio’s Correa has Everton waiting for Inter

The Argentina international is eager to join Simone Inzaghi at the Nerazzurri and Everton have to wait and see what happens.

As per reports from

Sportitalia

transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà,

Joaquin Correa

is determined to reunite with his ex-

Lazio

coach

Simone Inzaghi

at

Inter

before the window closes.

The two parties have been discussing the move for weeks and the Serie A champions are not willing to pay the €35m asking price.

They have lowered his price tag now and

Everton

are trying to acquire the Argentine’s services for €30m including bonuses.

However, the 27-year-old told his agent that he is going to wait for the Nerazzurri for as long as he can.

Inter are also negotiating with Borussia Monchengladbach for Marcus Thuram and they offered €25m plus bonuses for the player. Should they pen the papers, Correa can move on and accept Everton’s offer.

The Argentina international is not going to feature for his side’s Serie A opening clash against Empoli and Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri revealed that he is “not in the right mindset” to make an appearance amid transfer talks.

Correa met the back of the net 11 times and contributed six assists in 38 matches for the Aquile last season.
