When I arrived at Roma, Dzeko was on the transfer market,”
Petrachi told
Sky Sport Italia

“In my small way, I imposed myself as much as I could.
“I dealt with a professional, an exemplary guy. Dzeko understood and finally convinced himself to stay with us. I think he’s an extraordinary footballer.
“Today, Roma are depriving themselves of this lad, it’s not easy to replace him. He’s a separate department.
“I wish him all the best, but it won’t be easy to replace him.”
The veteran met the back of the net 119 times in 260 matches since he made a move to the Giallorossi in 2016 and has found the target 15 times in 25 Champions League games with Roma.
