Hansi Flick waxed lyrical about Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus
In his first press conference as German coach, Hansi Flick was full of adoration for Marco Reus.

Marco Reus is one of the best players in the final third for me, with the way he can open up spaces. That's why I see him as one of the best players in his position,"
said Flick.
Following Germany's disastrous 2018 World Cup, Joachim Löw left out
Jerome Boateng
,
Mats Hummels
and
Thomas Müller
, although the latter two returned for Euro 2020.
Flick explained his plans for the veteran trio:
"I said it earlier, I want to have the best players. If Mats Hummels, Jerome Boateng and Thomas Müller put in top performances, then they'll be part of this team again
."
