Dzeko: I only think about Roma
The Roma striker responds to transfer rumors linking him with a move away from Stadio Olimpico.

Edin Dzekoscored twice as Roma got their fourth victory under Jose Mourinho. In a post-match interview, the Bosnian forward spoke about the transfer rumors regarding his future at Roma.
“I’m tired of talking about Dzeko,”
the striker told
Sky Sport Italia. “I only think about Roma and nothing else.”
Asked about the presence of the fans at Benito Stirpe Stadium, Dzeko responded:
“These are emotions we haven’t felt for a while, it really gives us a good effect and we hope to experience a positive season, also with the fans at the stadium,”
Mourinho replaced Paulo Fonseca as Roma’s manager ahead of the next season. Dzeko says the Portuguese coach motivates the team to improve their performances.
“We are just at the beginning, for now everything is going well,”
the 35-year-old continued.
“We are preparing. The legs are still a bit heavy, but everyone is happy, and the coach tells us to give 100 per cent.
“Then, after the games and training, you can joke too.”
Roma will play a pre-season friendly against
Portoon Wednesday. Mourinho’s side will face Fiorentina in the opening match of their 2021-22 campaign on August 22.
