Spinazzola will watch the final at Wembley

Italy’s injured star has confirmed that he will be at Wembley to support his teammates.

Italy’s

injured star

Leonardo Spinazzola

has confirmed that he will be at Wembley to support Italy in their last clash in Euro 2020, although he can’t play for them.

Spinazzola was one of the most important players for his side but was injured in his side’s clash against Belgium, so he missed the rest of the tournament suffering from a torn Achilles tendon, and he went through surgery in Finland and will be sidelined for the next seven to eight months.

“I will be in London tomorrow with my teammates,”

the Roma man told RAI 1

.

“It’s immensely exciting, the lads have given me an incredible evening. We are a great team and we really feel like a family.”

Although Spinazzola has left his teammates, they are still thinking of him even Insigne wore his jersey after they defeated Spain in the semi-final to show that they are still thinking of him.

Italian players have a hard game ahead of them in the final at Wembley, as Spinazzola admits, but he believes in his teammates.

“It’s going to be a very difficult match, especially in their stadium, but hearing all those jeers will just fire us up even more.

“I will be in the stands, cheering them on with my crutches! If Italy were to win, I’d have to jump up and celebrate with everyone. My wife keeps telling me to be careful, so I hope to jump around on one leg.

“I’ll tell the lads that I am on the pitch with them.”
