Ramos and Mendy to be eligible to play against Chelsea
According to Marca, Sergio Ramos and Ferland Mendy are likely to be available for Zidane’s selection against Chelsea.
Warming down after last night’s victory over Osasuna and ahead of their crucial Champions League tie with Chelsea, Sergio Ramos, and Ferland Mendy trained with and without the ball while the situation is a bit different with Fede Valverde and Raphael Varane.
Fede Valverde has to undergo another Covid-19 test to be eligible to play. The Uruguayan has already tested negative, but the result wasn’t conclusive as he was in close contact with a coronavirus-diagnosed person.
Raphael Varane, who picked up a knock during their victory over Osasuna, will undergo an MRI scan tomorrow to see whether his injury is serious or not, while Marcelo may still be able to fly to London on a private jet to join up with the squad after his polling duty in Madrid’s election.
