Martinelli: I am feeling a bit tired but it’s nothing serious
The Gunners forward ended his 15-month goal drought amid fresh injury fears.

Arsenal’s third goal in their 3-0 victory against
Sheffield Unitedon Sunday. This was Martinelli’s first goal since he scored against
Chelseain January 2020. Despite experiencing an inspiring 2019-20 breakthrough season, the teenager suffered a knee injury that kept him from becoming a regular starter at the Emirates Stadium. The Brazilian forward was substituted in the 83rd minute due to an ankle knock but says he has not suffered a serious injury.
Asked whether he will miss his side’s Europa League match on Thursday, Martinelli told the club’s
official website:
"No, I am alright to play on Thursday."
He added:
"I am feeling a bit tired but I'm so happy with the goal and even happier with the victory and the three points.
"I work every single day in training, you need to prepare yourself because when Mikel needs you, you need to be there to play and show something."
Arsenal will play against
Slavia Praguein the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash on Thursday. The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg and they are set to play the second leg in the Eden Arena.
