Benitez talks about preferred job destination

Rafa Benitez said that going back to the Premier League is his priority, however, reports are showing connections with Napoli.

, and also Real Madrid coach is one of the nominees to fit Gennaro Gattuso's place in the 2021-22 campaign.

"I've already received more than one offer in the last few months, but it wasn't the right time or project. I needed to spend time with my family. I want to find a club with ambition, one either competing for titles or looking for a serious project that will lead to that later,"

"I always say that the key to success is balance, both on the pitch between defense and attack, but also in the management of the club.

"My experiences with Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle have all been very enjoyable and for this reason, my priority is the Premier League,"

he added.

Gattuso, who used to play as a midfielder for Milan, will be dismissed by Napoli despite the Partenopei's position at the end of the season.

"My family are in England and it's the most complete league, but I can't rule out leaving. As I said, if there's a well-defined project with objectives.

He was also asked if he would return to Spain in near future.

"If next season is the near future, then I think it can be ruled out. After that, you never know. It depends on the seriousness of the project."
