RB Leipzig winger misses the Liverpool clash due to prolonged injury

RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann has uncovered that Emil Forsberg is unavailable for Tuesday's Champions League face-off against Liverpool.

The Sweden international won't be fit as expected for RB Leipzig's

last-16 tie against Liverpool in Budapest on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old remains out of action with the knee injury that has kept him out of Leipzig's last four matches.

"Unfortunately, Emil Forsberg isn't fully fit yet. He still has problems with changes in direction," Nagelsmann said to reporters on Monday.

Also, the Red Bulls will be without Konrad Laimer and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Then again, Benjamin Henrichs will return to the squad in the wake of recuperating from a knee injury, Nagelsmann revealed.

"It's looking good with Benjamin Henrichs. He will be on the plane," said the 33-year-old RB Leipzig coach.
