Failing to reach an agreement on Dzeko’s wages, the deal collapsed and the 34-year-old is being reintegrated into the team.

believed Roma would have made a big mistake if they had gone through with the deal, with Inter benefiting the advantages.

Fortunately for the Giallorossi the situation didn’t materialise and they made Fonseca rethink. This deal would have made no sense for Roma.”
Although Dzeko was not played by Fonseca, he is back on the first-team squad and climbed off the bench in the 2-0 loss against
