Real Madrid interested in acquiring Manchester City winger’s services
Real Madrid are eying the Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez to replace Vinicius Junior for the next campaign.

, the Algerian national team coach, has confirmed that the Algerian international
Riyad Mahrez
is not satisfied with his play time at
Manchester City.
“
Mahrez is not happy in Manchester because he doesn’t play often and he’s a fighter who wants to play every game for his team,
” he said.
“
I can’t ask him to leave his club to play more in another because I am not his agent, but the most important thing is that he stays fit and is prepared for the next matches of the national team.”
Notwithstanding starting the season as a regular, Mahrez has only played 20 minutes in City’s last four outings. Not being selected in
Pep Guardiola
’s starting lineups, has raised a lot of concerns in Algeria and speculations are being made surrounding his move.
Mahrez started his professional career as a senior at Quimper, he then played for second and first-team in Le Havre. The 29-year-old moved to Leicester in 2014, contributing to the Premier League title winning in 2016 before joining Manchester City after two years.
