Patrick van Aanholt to make a shock move to Arsenal
As the January transfer window closes on Monday, the Gunners are looking to provide a back-up for Kieran Tierney in the remaining days.
With
Sead Kolasinac
currently on loan at
Schalke
,
Arteta
does not have a natural left-back in reserve of the Scot left-back as he had to play
Cedric
Soares
and
Bukayo
Saka
on the left-back position occasionally.
However, according to the Sunday Mirror,
Van
Aanholt
is the man at the top of
Arsenal’s
transfer targets for the position. Although the Dutchman was part of
Palace’s
starting XI for their 1-0 victory over
Wolves
on Saturday, he has fallen behind
Tyrick
Mitchell
in the left-back pecking order at Selhurst Park.
