Torreira expected to join Monaco in January
Torreira is on the verge of leaving Atletico Madrid for France.
Lucas Torreira has attracted the attention of
Monacoand Arsenal and the player himself are happy with the transfer.
The former Sampdoria midfielder is on loan at Atletico this season but is having a hard time with the boy team and is expected to move to another team this month.
Many clubs in Italy are looking to sign him, but Monaco is the most serious club that wants to sign him. Monaco are set to sign him on a three-year deal, and Arsenal have agreed a move. In the next few days, the future of Torrera is expected to be determined, and Monaco wants to finalize the transfer before the winter transfer window closes.
