Melbourne City boss regrets the missed chances against Adelaide United

a free-kick. The Reds then went on to seal the three points with another goal.

I think the first half, we had the better of the chances

," Kisnorbo said.

"

Obviously, we didn't convert and then you go down to 10 men. You concede a set piece and a deflection, it's game over.

"But, to be fair, I thought we dominated the first half, but it wasn't a 2-0 result, I think

."

City boss admitted that United had the advantage of having supporters at the stadium.

"

Fans do lift the team,

" Kisnorbo said.

"

I think the first half, because we controlled them (Adelaide), the fans were a bit quiet to be honest.

"But then obviously the game swings and the fans are on top of you again

."

Notwithstanding the outcome of the clash, Kisnorbo is satisfied with his time at the club as he joined City in September.

"

Yeah, (it has been) great - you find out very quickly that the roller coaster (ride) of a manager is up and down,

" he said.

"

Sometimes, it's good one week but frustrating another.

"But, all in all, I'm very humbled and honoured to be head coach and it's part of the journey that you learn from days like this and they can only make you better

."
