Former

Barcelona

boss,

Quique Setien

who was recently sacked and replaced by current Blaugrana boss

Ronald Koeman

, says he is very happy with his experience as Barca coach and is willing to take over again if possible.

Setien

took over at Barcelona in January 2020. He led Blaugrana until the end of the 2019-20, but his team performed poorly, ending the season without winning a single trophy. Setien, 62, who has filed a lawsuit against Barcelona after being sacked, talks about his experience at the club and says he would like to return to the Camp Nou in the future.

“I have already overcome the mourning that I had to go through for what happened at Barcelona,"

He said in an interview.

“But this is an accident, one more that you take as part of the job.

“If you manage to live a little isolated from from the whole environment, which is what I have done, you can live in a way that’s more or less calm.

“I’ve changed my phone but they still stop you on the street and ask for interviews, but I have to try to remain the same.

“The experience was extraordinary.

“It’s true that we didn’t achieve what we would have liked and dreamed of when I went there in the beginning, but things were quite complicated. Of course I’d return to Barcelona and I don’t regret going there at all. Not at all.”
