Federation boss believes that Olunga can achieve higher awards

He is the first African player to win this award.

, FKF president, is very pleased to see him win this award and congratulated this achievement.

“We are very proud of Michael [Olunga] and I know he can still do more,”.

“We congratulate him for the award and also urge him to work even harder.”

Kenyan fans now believe that he must play in the Premier League. On this matter, Mwendwa said:

“I cannot comment where he wants to go, all I know is he is a top-class player and will do more wonders in seasons to come.”

:winning the award, Olunga thanked Kashiwa Reysol for their support. He also expressed his hopes for African players and the league. 

“I hope that the J-League will continue to have the best football in Asia and that more and more African players will play in it.”
