Federation boss believes that Olunga can achieve higher awards
Mwendwa said: "all I know is he is a top-class player and will do more wonders in seasons to come"
, the Kenyan footballer, was crowned as the J1-League's Most Valuable Player as he notched 28 goals for his team,
Kashiwa Reysol.
He is the first African player to win this award.

, FKF president, is very pleased to see him win this award and congratulated this achievement.
“We are very proud of Michael [Olunga] and I know he can still do more,”.
“We congratulate him for the award and also urge him to work even harder.”
Kenyan fans now believe that he must play in the Premier League. On this matter, Mwendwa said:
“I cannot comment where he wants to go, all I know is he is a top-class player and will do more wonders in seasons to come.”
