Ulsan Hyundai go to final thanks to Negrao’s penalty strike

Ulsan Hyundai striker Junior Negrao met the back of the net from the penalty spot in the battle against Vissel Kobe on Sunday and led his side to the Asian Champions League final.

Vissel Kobe

took the lead 52 minutes into the game through Hotaru Yamaguchi.

Ulson Hyundai

then pushed for an equalizer with Yoon Bit-garam’s 81st-minute goal.

Right when both teams were struggling to push for a win in a pulsating match,

Negrao

was gifted a penalty when Vissel Kobe’s shot-stopper fouled one minute before the game was finished.

The 33-year-old striker found the target with Vissel Kobe’s captain too injured to deny it.

Ulson Hyundai, who are titleholders of

AFC Champions League

Group F, will lock horns with Iranian giants

Persepolis

in December in the final.
