Valencia GK Jasper Cillessen out for 4 months due to thigh injury.

Valencia goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has effectively gone through the medical procedure on a quadriceps injury and is set to miss playing three to four months because of it.

As reported by Marca, the 31-year-old got the injury in training last Friday and there has been no decrease in the agony or worry, with additional tests showing that medical procedure was essential. 

The Dutch goalkeeper had the surgery this week and told correspondents, according to Marca: “

The operation was great. Happy to return home. Now is the time to begin recovery

.” 

The clinical mediation was expected to fix the fiber breakage in the thigh and to aid the muscle tissues' recovery so that there are no dangers of another break in the zone. 

After playing for five seasons at

Ajax

(2011-2016), Cillessen moved to

Blaugrana

with a €13m transfer fee, however, he was always the second after

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen

so he moved to

Valencia

last summer.

Cillessen moved to Los Che in a €35m bargain and the Brazilian

Neto

replaced him at Camp Nou with €26m in addition to €9m in variables.

The Holland international highlighted in 24 La Liga games last season at Mestalla, however, he has been number two to Jaume Domenech this season.
