Boateng discusses the possibility of a contract extension with Bayern

Bayern Munchen Defender has spoken about his future at FC Bayern and a possible move to MLS

Jerome Boateng has been an integral part of Bayern Munchen's successful journey through the past decade. The ex- germen international has appeared in 328 games for Bavarians and won 20 major honors including 2 champions league trophies. After winning the second treble with Bayern in last season, Boateng is now entering his final year of his contract with Germen giants.  In recent seasons Boateng has been linked with clubs such as Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Milan but he has remained loyal to Bayern and has always found his position in the squad. In his recent interview with Kicker, the 32- year- old defender has spoken about his future at FC Bayern.

"I can imagine [signing an extension]. My children feel at home here. With Hansi Flick as coach and this team, it's a lot of fun. In the end,I'm happy to still be with FC Bayern. I'm enjoying football again.

"

But being asked about a possible move in the future, Boateng didn't rule out a move from Bayern to another club.

"Another culture. I like to learn new things and don't always have to be in the same place. USA, Asia or even another European country, you will see - but it doesn't have to be."
