Calhanoglu reveals he went directly for the goal from corner
Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu reveals he intended to score directly from the corner spot to surprise Roma Rui Patricio.

Interin Serie A on Saturday.
The former
AC Milanmidfielder curled the ball straight in at the near post from a corner, sending it through
Rui Patricio’s legs to open the scoring after 15 minutes at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Turkey international was questioned if he did it on purpose following the final whistle of the 3-0 victory on

“Yes, I went for the goal,”
replied
Calhanoglu. “I always try to go for the near post from the corner flag and this time it went well.
“I am glad at my assist for Edin Dzeko too. Inter dominated the match, we allowed Roma nothing at all, it was a great performance.”
Calhanoglu was notorious for his inconsistency at Milan, but he appears to have changed his ways at Inter.
“I feel more confident now and in really good shape. I want to give my best for the team and the club, the rest comes as a consequence.”
