Mino Raiola: “Fake news about Haaland travels quick and far”

The Norway international’s agent reacted about the speculations regarding his client’s future at Westfalenstadion.

Mino Raiola

slammed the reports about

Erling Haaland

’s future at

Borussia Dortmund

on

Twitter

. Many major clubs around the world are eyeing the Dortmund striker, who has pulled off a talismanic performance this season.

The Norway international’s father Alf-Inge and the super-agent traveled to Spain to negotiate with

Barcelona

and

Real Madrid

and they are speculated to be open to sitting down with

Premier League

suitors as well. However, Raiola tried to stop the speculations by posting a video of different reports regarding Haaland on Twitter using the word “fake” several times with the caption of “

Fake news travels quick and far

”.

Raiola acted hastily when Haaland joined Dortmund, believing that the 20-year-old could have fit in at other elite clubs after departing Salzburg.

"

Haaland is in front of his own development,"

he said.

"He is ahead of his own schedule. Maybe I was too careful when I said, ‘Oh no, let’s move to Dortmund instead of I-don’t-know-where’.

“This boy - I’m 100 per cent convinced and everybody’s convinced - can move to any club, wherever he wants, already on this level. He could have done that last year."

Although Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane have displayed significant performances this season, Haaland is a younger star ready to show his fullest potential.

The Norwegian has met the target 33 times in 32 appearances for Dortmund.
